keep on laughin’…it’s good for what ails you, hahaha
Hi,
I am looking for something my mother, who is almost 80, can really enjoy and gain much from. She has heart issues, and lives in north burnaby. is there anything for her where she lives?
Do you know of any good meditation places as well?
thanks.

Hi Suzan,
I’m a Laughter Leader in Burnaby. I will be doing a drop-in session this Tuesday evening, June lst at the Edmonds Community Centre for 55+ which is located on the southwest corner of Edmonds and Kingsway in Burnaby. The time is from 7-8 pm.
I would be thrilled to have you and your precious mom attend this session. The centre has advertised calls it as Laughter-cize. There is free parking in the lot next to the centre.
So if your mom is feeling well that day, please think about coming out to take part. Both of you will have a lot of fun!!!!
I’m assuming that your mom is under a doctor’s order and takes meds. I’m just telling you about that because Laughter Yoga is a physical exercise and so participants have to be careful.
However, saying all that, there are millions of people all around the world with numerous serious health conditions who attend Laughter Yoga sessions every day. They just take care of themselves at all times. Participants can either stand up or sit down when doing the exercises. We don’t believe in being pretzels!!!
I hope this helps.
He, He, ho, ho, ho,
